Monday night at the JCCA
Playing up against a group of better players — three simple goals, and why the losses don't matter as much as the neighborhood.

A running record of mornings on the court — what's working, what isn't, and the slow, patient climb up the rating ladder.
The Short Version
I play most mornings, usually four times a week, and I'd rather win the point with placement than force it with pace. This site is where I keep track of that — sessions, small breakthroughs, the matches that taught me something the hard way.
Right now I'm playing in the 3.0–3.5 range and working toward something more consistent. If you're on a similar climb, you'll probably recognize a lot of this.
Curious what's actually in the bag? Check out the gear I use.
Recent Sessions
Official scoring policy: every win is a team effort. Every loss was my partner's unforced error. This is not up for debate.
